I’ve mentioned before in another post that I write notes on just about any kind of paper and that sticky notes are my preferred go-to. What I didn’t add is that this has been my family’s message system for years, something that morphed into becoming “our thing.” My kids will probably be surprised that I’ve kept so many of them, but I have lots more! (So does their dad!) And it really makes my day when I come across others that have been hiding out in a book or a folder or a drawer. I treasure each one and hope that my children, now grown, maintain this practice with their special someones.

Hi Lisa, I found your blog and I love this post! This reminds me of all the notes I saved from my Mom. I have them all saved in a box. How lovely all your notes from Maggie are. Sending you a warm hug! XOXO

Hi Rozelle! We are definitely a sticky note family. (Andrew has some in there, too!)
And I love to send cards to people. Maggie saves the ones that I send to her!
Glad you enjoyed this post. Stay and check out more!!

It developed over time into being “our thing” on its own, and I’m so glad for it! 😊
