Morning moon…

As you may have already read, I am a lover of early-morning walks. I thought it was high time to share why I like it so much and what the moon and I are actually up to at the crack of dawn!

Early every morning I look for you, my trusted walking companion.
I talk with you and the sky and the trees at length as your light dims.
This is my meditation, peaceful and punctuated with birdsong.
It is an in-between time full of promise and possibility,
When the mysteries of night recede to accommodate sunrise.
It is a theater of creation, where inspiration is ready to strike at will,
A definite contrast to the hubbub of activity that daylight will bring.
I am learning to befriend this space and carry it with me,
Trusting that I can call on its energy whenever and wherever I wish.

Sometimes the sea the sky everything is covered with a pink hue The magnificence of our God or Source of all there is. As your beautiful books remind us. I’ve seen some of your photos of your beautiful ocean skies! I especially love those pink clouds of dawn and dusk. Truly sacred times of day…
